eFoodSafety.com, Inc. Reports First Cash Positive Profit in Company History

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--eFoodSafety.com, Inc. (OTCBB: EFSF), a researcher, developer, and marketer of whole foods and nutraceutical products, announced today the results for the first quarter ended July 31, 2008.
The Company was able to report on a cash basis a profit of $5,403, exhibited a slight sales increase, improved gross profit margins by nearly 50%, and dramatically reduced sales and marketing expenses, as well as research and development expenses. Overall, as reported on the Company’s Form 10-QSB, EFSF reported a total non-cash loss for the quarter of $504,029, which was comprised of non-cash expenditures, including $498,626 in stock for services and the balance in depreciation.
